Job Description :

Seeking a candidate to establish and manage a company-wide warranty analysis function in support of Workhorse’s quality and customer satisfaction strategies. Candidates will have extensive knowledge related to automotive OEM warranty administration and analysis.
Additional Job Responsibilities

Establish a company-wide warranty analysis function to facilitate data collection, targets, and reporting working with the senior leadership team, IT, and other cross functional stakeholders as required.
Develop appropriate warranty analysis procedures to document the process of data collection, target setting and reporting of data.
Leverage warranty data to identify areas requiring improvement and cost control.
Respond swiftly to changing warranty information and market dynamics.
Provide advanced analytics-based insights on problem areas.
Identify emerging potential safety and quality issues.
Forecast and communicate future warranty performance on annual basis based on warranty growth curves.
Enable relevant departments to do root cause analysis to allow for implementation of product improvements and fixes by providing relevant data based on commodity and targets to achieve approved by the Executive Team.
Drive collaboration between engineering, purchasing, quality, product service and the supplier community by providing data allowing for root cause analysis and through timely feedback to all stakeholders.
Provide finance personnel data to better align annual warranty budgets and accruals.
Provide the executive leadership team with appropriate data to develop annual vehicle and system level warranty reduction targets.
Support Purchasing and Supplier Quality with supplier responsible warranty charge backs and reimbursements.
Establish warranty parts returns center in support of new product launches.
Support the Field Product Evaluation team with appropriate and timely date in support of potential product field campaigns and recalls.
Maintain robust regulatory compliance documentation by maintaining accurate data records.
Monitor and implement both industry and internal Best Practices.
. Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, engineering analysis, computer science, data science or related area
At least 8 years working in an automotive, heavy equipment, commercial manufacturing company in either customer service, aftersales, warranty, product development, finance, or supplier quality position
5 years of experience understanding of claims adjudication process
5 years’ experience in the use of statistics and analytics capabilities utilizing forecasting tools5%
Baseline experience developing warranty growth curves
Proficiency with both basic and advanced computer programs
Advanced ability to utilize excel (pivot tables, etc.), PowerPoint and other tools for simple analysis and communication of trends, results
Ability to manipulate large databases and communicate complex issues into simple messages to drive improved results
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Comfortable with working with senior executives in the organization

What Makes You Eligible

Be willing to travel up to 10%, domestic only.
Be willing to work in an office in Sharonville, OH, Wixom, MI, or Union City, IN.
Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
