Job Description :
Starside Security & Investigation, Inc. Court Services Division (CSD) is looking for Court Security Officer Supervisors for multiple Courthouses in Austin Texas. Starside is responsible for the security and protection of court staff and visitors to courthouses in Austin, TX. Supervisor Applicants must have a clean background (as Verified by Austin Police Department) and all Supervisors must pass CJIS and have Court Security training in addition to advanced training on X-Ray Machines, CCTV and Metal Detectors.
Starside’s Supervisors are responsible to ensure that all CSO’s are professional and courteous at all time and have excellent uniform appearance. Project Manager also tracks Texas Non Commissioned Guard Card (Level II) and helps prepare and submit Timesheet, Schedule and staffing plans to Starside’s Corporate Office.
Ideal Candidate

3 to 5 years of Security Guard Supervisory experience supervising a minimum of 5 security officers.
Clean Background / Clear Credit / Driving record
Pass a Pre-employment Physical and Psychological evaluation
Texas Non Commissioned Security License (Level II) or higher
Texas Concealed Weapons Permit (CCW) a plus
Previous Law Enforcement, Court Security experience, a strong plus
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and to respond to alarms and/or situations after hours
Willing to work Monday thru Friday and provide training on weekends
Special Operations / Military a plus (DD214)
All Starside employees must be able to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance

Compensation is $ 18.75 per Hour, Plus $ 4.22 into a Health & Welfare (Retirement Account). Court Security Supervisors must be able to effectively communicate to all levels of staff at a courthouse from judges, police officers, Court Security Officers, (CSO’s), all levels of management and administrators at community, local, city, county and federal courthouses. As with all Court Service Division employees Supervisors must be approved by The Austin Police Department, and the courthouse they are going to be assigned and pass their background
