Job Title: Scheduler of Operator Qualifications

Job Code: MS0620


Prioritizes and aligns the knowledge exam (KE) and performance exam (PE) offerings of all Operator Qualification (OQ) tasks for Columbia Gas to ensure compliance and the optimization of testing needs and resources; provides support to end users of ITS-Onboard to manage and track a broad spectrum of qualifications and testing

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

OQ Team liaison to Technical Training, Planning, Scheduling and Operations to provide requirements necessary to meet customer expectations and the business plan.
Reviews the annual and monthly Operation Plans, and the translation of the operations plans into operating budgets in regards to qualifications
Keeps abreast of business and OQ needs that may affect Distribution Operations.
Promotes the necessary environment for effective internal customer satisfaction and collaboration.
Ensures ongoing collaborative relationships with key internal operations partners, i.e. PS&C, IC, Planning, HSE and Customer Operations training.
Manages employee data base related to OQ assignments ITS Learning Management System
Partners with Operating Centers to track employee movement related to job changes and new hires, new to role impacted by OQ assignments
Supports LMS and ITS-OnBoard with assignment of compliance related NOCs and GSRs to targeted assignment profiles, both employees and contractors
Assists Skill Evaluators with scheduling, tooling and space needs

Required Qualifications for Position

Knowledge of LMS and ITS-OnBoard functionality, training, Operator Qualification, safety and compliance requirements.
Demonstrated understanding of planning, scheduling and budgeting activities which support Distribution Operations.
Demonstrated leadership skills.
Demonstrated Project Management skills (analytical and organizational).
Demonstrated knowledge and ability to quickly assess and make sound decisions.
Experience in collaborating with multiple stakeholder groups to achieve results
Demonstrated proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint and Lotus Notes
Excellent communication skills, oral and written
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid Driver’s License

Preferred Additional Qualifications for Position

Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree from accredited institution.
