Position Summary: We are hiring a Quality Improvement (QI) Coordinator to join our Risk Management and QI team. As the QI Coordinator, you will assist with the implementation, operation and management of a continuous quality improvement program for Wingspan and its affiliate agencies. You will have an active role in the development and maintenance of systematic and objective performance improvement activities, internal audit activities, and providing administrative support to the Risk Management Department.
Perform quality control audits to ensure compliance with Medicaid, contracts, HIPAA, and EHR data entry procedures.
Participate as a member of the Performance Improvement (PI), Incident Report Committees and other PI subcommittees as assigned from time to time.
Assist in preparing any data required for these committees and keeps minutes at all meetings.
Provide summary reports of the meetings to the committee members and other stakeholders as necessary.
Assist in the functioning of the medical records department.
Support Risk Management department by assisting with credentialing and privileging
Assist departmental needs by responding to necessary communications and submitting reports on behalf of supervisor as needed.
Monitor the production of quality results reporting; analyze, track and trend the reporting results and assess need for corrective action plans and follow up
Bachelor’s Degree in related field required.
One year experience within behavioral healthcare environment working with clinical data required.
Prior project management experience preferred.
Previous experience with Microsoft Excel preferred.
