Job Description :
Construction, Development, Real Estate, & Property Mgmt.
$30.00- $40.00 per hour (depending on experience!)
Mon-Fri, 8:00am-5:00pm
Temp- to- Hire, Downtown Columbus! (free parking)
This position will primarily read, abstract, maintain and update commercial office and retail leases and assist on the CAM reconciliation. The position will also be instrumental in project administration activities for projects in the Property Management stage and in contract management tasks related to predevelopment activities. They will also assist the SVP, Treasurer with Controller activities and the Finance Department as required.

What you’ll be doing:
Lease Administration

Interpret and abstract new lease and amendment documents and input into database
Track critical dates and record move-ins and move-outs
Tenant billing and respond to tenant inquiries
Prepare Welcome letters, Rent Commencement letters, and other correspondence
Assist with due diligence as needed for property acquisitions and dispositions
Record tenant certificates of insurance expiration dates and enter gross sales reports
Assist with annual CAM Reconciliations
Assist with annual budgets
Maintain lease files
Project Administration

Monitor vendor contracts and renewals for Property Management projects
Record receipt of invoices, track invoice approval, and maintain organized records for each
Verify budget commitments from purchase order and change order records
Assist project management team as necessary
Maintain good relations and trust with vendors, customers, and team members by taking a pro-active approach in communicating and resolving issues
Balance vendor and subcontractor statements for Property Management projects; report status and follow-up with results in reasonable time
Contract Administration on Property Mgmt. projects
Finance Department

Assist with financials for specific leadership initiatives
Assist with lenders, closings, and preconstruction development activities
Balance credit card statements
Manage the process of expense records and reimbursements; provide timely payment
Supports the administration and communication of accounting and general customer service outside of and within the organization
Processes credit applications
Organize and document monthly accounting meetings in a timely and efficient manner
Vouch, distribute, and enter general overhead invoices
Organize and assemble weekly check runs
Support accounting team processes
Other duties as required to assist the accounting department
