This is a hybrid role, open to locations in Singapore; London; Australia; the San Francisco Bay Area (San Francisco, Foster City, Palo Alto); Austin, TX, New York, NY; Atlanta, GA; and Washington, D.C.

In support of Visa’s Data Office, the Product Commercialization Director for Consent Management is responsible for global commercialization of consent management products in support of our growing value-added services business. Explicit user permissions are an essential requirement for both existing and emerging use cases that interact with consumer data (e.g., identity, open banking). This role will be responsible for commercializing global products that enable the strong Visa standards by which consent is captured, managed, and audited between parties and developing solutions to drive adoption of these standards across the payment’s ecosystem.

Specifically, you will focus on…

Driving the commercialization of VISA’s Consent Management product, which will require you to work cross-functionally with a multitude of internal and external stakeholders
Enabling other regional product, commercialization, and partnership teams to drive respective efforts in their regions
Work with partners / potential clients to validate market demand and to drive revenue opportunities for VISA

This role requires excellent written and verbal communication skills to support coalition building within and outside of the organization. In addition, a successful Product Management Director would greatly benefit from experience writing both product and technical requirements as well as system specifications.

What we expect of you, day to day.

Take ownership of the go-to-market / commercialization deliverables and work closely with various internal functions such as Client Support, Marketing, Sales, Brand, Pricing, FinTech partnerships, Commercial Legal, Visa Developer Portal, and others for the commercial platform launch
Work with the regions and markets to identify partners / clients and be closely engaged in these conversations
Drive internal risk sign-off processes with multiple stakeholders like legal, data privacy, compliance, and others
Manage large scale, cross-functional programs to drive and coordinate the commercialization of Visa’s Consent Management products
Become a subject-matter expert that can socialize Visa’s Consent Management strategy to leadership as well as externally. Report out on progress, and escalate challenges as needed.

Flex Work Arrangement – Hybrid Position – Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD
10+ years’ work experience with demonstrated expertise in commercialization and go-to-market execution, gained at a technology organization or comparable
Natural collaborator with ability to effectively lead cross-functional teams to drive deliverables, projects, and engagements to completion
Strong stakeholder management skills
Willingness to act decisively and drive workstreams forward in a dynamic, fast-paced, and constantly evolving working environment
Excellent communication skills and ability to break down complex work into concise, straightforward ideas and tasks, easily digestible for a range of internal and external stakeholders

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD

Broader Product Manager skill set and experience working with Technology is a plus
Open Banking experience is a plus.
