The premier tutoring Service in the US, Grade Potential is looking for a full time Manager of Client Operations. We are looking for someone that is extremely personable, friendly, outgoing, and enthusiastic. They must have excellent communication skills and be very personable and persistent in order to be able to service our clients and tutors over the phone/text/email. In addition they must be detail oriented and a problem solver. Current Client Operations Managers have described their role as “working on a jigsaw puzzle where all of the pieces are constantly changing shape!”
Daily Responsibilities:
Arranging appropriate tutors for our clients. The Manager of Client Operations has the main responsibility of linking our students up with our most appropriate tutor based on specific competence, schedule compatibility, location, client feedback, specific client requests, etc. This means that our Manager of Client Operations must become very familiar with our fleet of tutors and act as an account executive fulfilling the requests of our clients. In order to assist with this process, we have invested over $1 million in a proprietary back office software system. Basically, we are a SERVICE organization and so we are here to totally cater to our clients’ needs and fully take care of them. There are many challenges that exist in performing this role effectively, and our Client Operations Managers must constantly make difficult choices and tradeoffs about how to best serve our clients. All of this basically comes down to serving our clients and MAKING THEM HAPPY! It is a very important job here at Grade Potential to make sure that all the needs of our clients are being fulfilled, and that will be YOUR job!
In addition to the main responsibility described above, the Manager of Client operations performs regular account executive functions by checking in with our clients in order to make sure they are continually satisfied and serve any of their other needs. There will of course be various other functions that the Manager of Client Operations performs such as administration etc. The main responsibilities however are outlined above as, correct student to tutor allocation and evaluation of applications. Overall the Manager of Client Operations must be a “people person” and enjoy interacting with many people over the phone on a regular basis. They must be excited and cheerful when it comes to serving the needs of our clients, and in addition must have the persistence and wherewithal to work on our ever changing “jigsaw puzzle.”
We certainly do have a very team based environment and so our Manager of Client Operations must interact very well with our team and be able to “pitch in” for their teammates when necessary.
Hours, Compensation, & Benefits:
-Working hours are TBD but consist of an 8 hour day, Monday-Friday with some overtime needed when extra busy.
-Our Manager of Client Operations receives a base salary and bonus based on performance. Bonus is currently paid as a percentage of the gross profit of the regions that they manage. The better job they do placing our clients with our most appropriate tutor in a timely manner leads to happier clients, more frequent sales, and larger sales which lead to higher gross profit. In addition to bonuses earned from performance, there is a minimum salary of $35,000. The earning expectation as a Manager of Client Operations is about $50,000 in the first year. After the first year, the earning potential is roughly between $55,000 and $90,000 depending on your level of productivity and tenure. Also, as we are a rapidly growing company, there may be other exciting growth opportunities available.
-Also, we contribute $125 per month towards any health insurance plan.
-Another great benefit of working at Grade Potential is 3 WEEKS of paid time off in your first year, 4 WEEKS of paid time off in your 2nd year, and up to 6 weeks paid time off as you mature here at Grade Potential.
