Job Description
We are seeking a strategic leader to oversee product management, marketing and innovation across an assigned geographic region. Reporting directly to the VP of Product, the Product Director is responsible for maximizing the overall performance of their region through cross-functional collaboration with marketing, sales, procurement, and supplier partners. This critical leadership role will be responsible for creating competitive advantage and optimizing existing product to enable sales growth and ensure in-destination service excellence.

Accountable for overall performance of an assigned regional portfolio (marketing campaign conversion, close rate by destination, NPS)

Oversee seasonal merchandising analysis and itinerary optimization
Oversee product portfolio maintenance and freshness (content, imagery and copy of all services)
Ensure all NPS and staff travel feedback is monitored and addressed appropriately

Lead strategic initiatives involving complex, cross-functional projects with international partners and multiple internal departments (procurement, product, marketing, sales enablement)
Develop differentiated experiences that improve our value proposition and design compelling itineraries that deliver the best possible value-for-money while meeting our brand quality standards
Diagnose issues with country/product line performance + develop and implement strategies that effectively address the underlying problem
Develop and implement a regional competitive intelligence strategy to inform regional product development and marketing strategies
Create and deliver sales team training that effectively deepens their expertise, confidence, and efficiency
Coach and mentor multiple direct reports who share the same regional portfolio
Develop and nurture collaborative supplier relationships on a remote and in-person basis to facilitate the best possible business outcomes
Represent Kensington Tours at international trade shows and conduct in-destination research and partner visits as required


Minimum 4 years of full-time people and project management experience required
Minimum 4 years of full-time travel industry experience required
Deep destination knowledge of Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, England, Scotland, Ireland, Switzerland, Greece, Turkey & Croatia preferred
Strong understanding of the upscale, North American market preferred
Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to build effective relationships with key stakeholders
Proven experience developing strategic roadmaps and using strategy frameworks and tools to support decision making for successful execution
Outstanding research and analytical capabilities, to maintain awareness of the market and competitors
Strong project management mindset and is hyper organized in approach in delivering and managing product portfolio
Articulate, polished and professional with superior communication, presentation, and reporting skills; able to influence and communicate effectively with all levels of management and external stakeholders
Able to plan, work autonomously and deliver on multiple time sensitive projects in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining a high degree of focus on quality and detail of work produced
Proven business acumen with a systematic and analytical approach to problem solving
Maturity and leadership to deal with complex situations, lead cross functional teams in the development of your product vision and influence decision makers
Hands on with high energy, an entrepreneurial spirit and a positive attitude
Proficiency in MS Office (advanced in MS Excel and PowerPoint).
