Job Summary: The Director of Marketing and Communications at Heart of Ohio Family Health (HOFH) is responsible for selling the vision, strategy, and long-term management approach for the communication of HOFH. Candidate will :

Provides leadership for the development and execution of a comprehensive strategic communication and marketing plan to enhance Heart of Ohio Family Health’s mission, reputation, and brand
Manages Heart of Ohio Family Health’s PR and media strategy with a focus of issues management, content development, and mode of delivery in support of organizational mission.
Working in close coordination with senior leadership and the board, the director will serve as a member of the leadership team focused on driving awareness and engagement to enhance the reputation of Heart of Ohio Family Health locally and nationally.
Strategizes and helps plan programs and events that build relationships between HOFH personnel and patients, as well as position HOFH’s products and services favorably in the healthcare market.
Other duties that fall under a healthcare marketing professional’s purview include designing HOFH brochures, posting and editing content on HOFH’s website, and identifying community programs and or services and specialty practices that can help increase marketing value for Heart of Ohio Family Health.
Other duties as required by the CEO COVID-19 Vaccination/s Mandatory

Reports to: Chief Executive Officer

Supervises: N/A
Dress Requirement: Business Casual in accordance to Heart of Ohio Family Health dress code policy
Work Schedule: Full-time position Monday through Friday during standard business hours, may include some non-standard hours.

Job Duties: The following are considered essential to the successful performance of this position.
Responsibilities:

Works cooperatively with senior staff, managers and the Board of Directors to develop strategies for marketing and fundraising that secure and advance the mission and vision of HOFHC.
Provides leadership for the development and execution of a comprehensive strategic communication and marketing plan to enhance Heart of Ohio Family Health’s mission, reputation, and brand
Overseeing marketing department
Manages Heart of Ohio Family Health’s PR and media strategy with a focus of issues management, content development, and mode of delivery in support of organizational mission.
Working in close coordination with senior leadership and the board, the director will serve as a member of the leadership team focused on driving awareness and engagement to enhance the reputation of Heart of Ohio Family Health locally and nationally.

Job Qualifications: (Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications or related field
Experience in marketing
Proven marketing campaign experience
Strong Copywriting skills
Attention to detail
Proven ability to manage budgets
Professional and proactive work ethic
Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Excellent time management skills

Facility Environment:
Heart of Ohio Family Health operates in multiple locations, in Columbus, OH. All facilities have a medical office environment with front-desk reception area, separate patient examination rooms, nursing stations, pharmacy stock room, business offices, hallways and private toilet facilities. All facilities are on the main ground floor and ADA compliant.
