Overview:
The Director, Dermatology Marketing will report to Executive Director, Marketing. This role will focus on leading the Ortho anti-fungal franchise with a focus on both professional and consumer marketing. It will be critical that this commercial leader fully understand not only HCP engagement but also the patient engagement journey. As a Commercial leader you are expected to bring a vision and an executable plan that will deliver continued growth for this important brand sector in the Ortho portfolio. You will need to inspire a large cross-functional team to join in and deliver on the product and corporate promise.
This position has a broad functional responsibility and high visibility to executive level decision makers. The candidate must align cross-organizational teams, as well as associate and connect data points to one another. The ideal candidate must have excellent internal communications skills and is collaborative, strategic, organized, agile and visionary.
Key Roles and Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Develop, lead and bring to life a brand strategy by working with our internal and external teams and agencies
Lead and develop upstream and downstream marketing activities
Work closely with the sales team to train, execute and inspire
Plan, execute and measure personal, non-personal and consumer initiatives
Execute digital brand strategies across owned and paid channels
Collaborate with a cross-functional team, including Market Access, Medical, R&D, Sales, Trade, Finance, Operations, PR, Market Research, etc.
Put together and deliver strong marketing presentations that leave a lasting impression on C-suite to the field team
Lead the PRC (MLR) process for marketing materials
Lead the RFP process for new vendors
Work closely with data and analytics teams to stay ahead of trends, competitive situations and own your data
Work closely with sales to understand field needs
Engage with HCPs in both Podiatry and Dermatology specialties to gain insights on our own/competitive drugs
Engage with consumers and patients to understand their needs and gaps in care
Work closely with Market Insights to put together a research plan

Desired Skills and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field. MBA/Masters preferred.
Pharmaceutical Marketing experience in Dermatology required, prefer 4-6 years
Experience with brand strategy/positioning/planning, new product launch and product commercialization, and consumer marketing across the marketing mix
Experience in Media planning including Social Media, Digital/Online Media, TV & Print
Strong interpersonal/team building skills with ability to motivate cross functional teams
Excellent communication skills including ability to present to Sr. Management as well as sales force
Ability to think strategically and execute effectively, plan proactively vs. reactively
Experience in managing / leading within a complex matrix organization
