Job Title: Clinical Technician
The Clinical Technician supports clinical and non-clinical staff as well as building administration in the provision of technical and auxiliary clinical services to ensure comprehensive and effective daily programming and functionality. The Client Support Staff spends more direct time with the clients than any other position, and as such, are the lead role models in helping the clients to rebuild new lives. Requires maintaining a positive, productive attitude, even when clients may be argumentative or non-compliant.

Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:30-5:00PM with flexibility to work one evening shift per week (12:00PM-8:30PM).

Job Duties:

The Clinical Technician will collect, monitor, and document urinalysis samples and breathalyzer screenings
The Clinical Technician will send out daily email communications to clinical staff
The Clinical Technician assists with monitoring and maintaining inventory of all supplies and storage closet, and advises the supervisor when supplies are due to be ordered
The Clinical Technician provides group facilitation on relapse prevention and life skills, up to four groups per week
The Clinical Technician is responsible for monitoring clients throughout hours of operation, including a walk-through of the building every 15 minutes as assigned
The Clinical Technician is responsible for ensuring and maintaining the cleanliness of the building
The Clinical Technician ensures compliance with Federal Regulations pertaining to client confidentiality
The Clinical Technician schedules and provides transportation in accordance with transportation policy and procedures i.e. assists with daily transportation of clients to and from Sober Living
The Clinical Technician provides backup support for reception needs
The Clinical Technician monitors and oversees the use of the computers
The Clinical Technician provides support to clinical staff and medical staff

Requirements:

Versatility, flexibility, and willingness to work with constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
Ability to document accurately in the medical records and within mandated timeframes
Ability to work efficiently and thoroughly
Must have a strong ability to multi-task
Must have knowledge of all Microsoft Office suites including, but not limited to: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.
Current CPR certification or willing to obtain
Experience and knowledge in the field of Substance Use Disorder

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
