Job Description :
Kimball Midwest, a national distributor of maintenance, repair and operation products, is searching for a Benefits Supervisor in our Human Resources Department for our Columbus, OH location. This will be a Hybrid role, working 3 days in the office and 2 days at home.
Our Benefits Supervisor will be responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations of the Benefits team, overseeing the administration of the Company insurance benefit programs, managing the Company 401(k) plan, leading benefit webinars/meetings, processing benefit terminations, completion of monthly reconciliations, invoices, and monthly reports, managing the benefits call group, managing the employee leave programs (Worker’s Compensation, FMLA, etc.), leading the wellness initiatives for the Company, and running the annual renewal/open enrollment processes.
This position requires a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or other related degree and five (5) years’ experience working in Benefits administration
This position requires a (S)PHR certification or SHRM-(S)CP or a Personal Development Plan to achieve one within 24 months of beginning this position
This position requires a high level of confidentiality and discretion while performing job tasks
This position requires leadership skills and ability to direct the activities of others
This position requires intermediate computer literacy in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.) It requires the ability to quickly grasp new computer related functions
This position requires the ability to effectively problem solve and work independently of others
Prior experience working with ADP Workforce Now a plus, but not a requirement
