We are searching for an experienced Assistant Site Manager at our NY- Baron Winds Coll/Sub/T-Line facility. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

The Assistant Site Manager is tasked to work directly with the project’s management team (PM, APM, SM, Super’s) to ensure that the projects are being properly and efficiently executed. This management includes all aspects of the work (HSQE, Production, Cost & Schedule). The Assistant Site Manager is also a face of RES to the client and represents RES in daily, weekly and monthly meetings in the absence of others on the mgmt. team described above.
Essential Responsibilities:

Alignment between crews (both subcontractor and self-perform) with budget and schedule aspects of the project

o Includes weekly review of spend vs. budget with management team
o Includes pre-review of three week look-a-heads, material receiving logs to ensure accuracy and involvement and input into overall project schedule
o Analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems

Oversee the work, including but not limited to quality inspections, drawing and document review (both self-perform and subcontracted) with assistance from the SM and discipline Operation Mangers

Assist that all parties involved with the project (owner, suppliers, landowners) are kept informed of the project and address issues that arise

Additional Responsibilities:

Present, support, and lead-by-example with a safety and quality-oriented attitude. This includes a strong presence at the work locations with the individual crews throughout the week
Working with the RES quality group to ensure that the appropriate documentation is being completed in a timely manner
Has the leadership to step in when other managers (SM, PM, APM) are absent from the job
Ensure that proper reporting for HSQE is being completed on the jobsite
Review invoicing to ensure that appropriate billings are approved and a focus on cost efficiency


Intermediate MS Office Suite skills (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
Intermediate Google Earth skills
Knowledge of contracts and ability to enforce parameters to both internal and external crews
Ability to read and understand P6 schedules
Coordination and communication skills to work through problems discovered on the job-site

Physical requirements and environment:

The work environment and physical demands characteristics are representative of those the employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
The incumbent shall perform some sedentary office duties in the construction site office, but the role also involves a significant amount of time working outside on the active construction site performing construction support activities. The incumbent may occasionally lift up to 50 pounds and will be required to sit, stand, walk, climb, and use a computer.

Anticipated base salary range: $75,000- $100,000
Location: Steuben County, NY

The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. This position is bonus eligible.

Annual Salary
